Review: Revlon Just Bitten in Passion

I have a review for you all today, and unfortunately it isn't a good one. I have been obsessed with lip color lately: lipsticks, lip glosses, lip tints, lip stains, lip EVERYTHING. So, I really wanted to try the Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain because I had heard so many great things about it, and I really wanted a nice lipstain. Plus, I have a $2 off coupon! So, I purchased it on my birthday and wore it out to dinner with friends. I was very impressed with the results!

The next day I had another birthday celebration to go to, and I decided to wear my beloved lipstain again. This time, the tip was dry and flimsy, and did not produce any product onto my lips. Now, mind you, I did put the cap back on, so there is not fault on me here. I was very upset to see that a product that I had liked so much on the first use, was basically disposable.

So, I have tried using the product periodically since then, and let me tell you: I have not gotten any better results. This makes me very sad when I purchase a product I don't like. Perhaps mine just came from a bad batch, or maybe I'm using it wrong (which I doubt...) but I have to say, I am quite turned off from Revlon lip products now because of this.

So tell me: Have you ever tried this product? Did you like it? Were you thinking of purchasing this product? Has my review changed your consideration? I would love to hear your answers in the comments!!!

i think the packaging looks pretty. I'm not much of a lip stain person because i'm afraid it would be too overpowering. i'm bad at picking my perfect shade

i was afraid of the same thing, it being too overpowering, but i built up the color in moderation until i found the perfect wash of color...that is, until it dried out on me. :\

I have tried the CG lip stains and they work great for me. I was going to try the Revlon ones, but after this review I may not. I may still try one though just to see if my results differ. Thanks for the review! (:
